I can’t seem to find the correct Motorcraft lower radiator hose for a NON-oil cooler truck. Anyone have any info you can share?

This is from the parts list on here Jamie. Hope it helps.

No, bought that one. That’s for a truck with oil cooler. You can see it compared to the original one off my 5,400 mile truck.

I bought a hose from Advance Auto. Pretty sure it was for a 302. Wasn't Motorcraft fro sure.

I wonder if your F5TZ-8286-C was just tagged wrong. When I enter that part number in eBay the OEM hoses looks to be long than what you got which would be correct.

I’m trying to figure out what hose was tagged wrong then? I don’t see any other hose besides this one available. How can all F150s be the same hose if some have the oil cooler and some don’t?

When you go to Rock auto all the other hoses have two listed (w/svt & wo/svt) but motorcraft only has one option.

I'm thinking that that new hose you bought was tagged wrong. In my second picture it show different for a Lightning. The pics I post are from catalog dated late 94 for 95. I'll pull out my microfiche machine and look at cards from later.

I’m getting what your saying about it being tagged wrong but there is no other motorcraft part that I can find at all.

You would have to have two different hoses to be able to put the wrong tag on one.

What are the two part numbers for the hoses? One with cooler one without?

This one I bought is a perfect match for the original one I took off my truck. My truck only has 5,400 miles. This is the original hose I took off.

My 2001 Microfiche shows the same F5TZ-8286-C. My
early 94 does show a F2TZ-8286-G but I think it doesn't have a protector on it. Pictures are hard to get of this machine but I think they are readable.

.

See this pic. It list with oil cooler as F4TZ-8286-C. others F5TZ-8286-C. Yes it would be nice if they stated "without oil cooler".

So if you go to rock auto and look at the two different gates hoses they give you centerline lengths.

21216 w/o svt package (27.3”)
22541 w/svt package (21.2”)

The motorcraft KM2924 doesn’t list a length there but on O’Reilly it says 27-5/16”

This just doesn’t add up....

If you go on Napa online and look at lengths.

NBH 9174 w/ SVT package (21.2”)
NBH 7927 w/o SVT package (27.3”)

I ordered a Motorcraft hose on eBay (looks like it might me discontinued) KM-2411 (F2TZ-8286-G) that number comes up as an alternative to the gates 21216. I can’t find a length on that one.
