Cobra F-1 Hoods for Gen II Lightning, F-150

We took a deep socket, held it against the bottom side of the hood and pressed the squirters down to seat them. When you hook up your washer hoses, hold firmly against the squirters to keep from pushing them out. We thought about triming the barbs due to the fact that the fiberglass hood is thicker than our factory hood but never tried after we got them in.

I trimmed the barb on the washer spitter and they popped in and out easily. Used a sanding disk on a dremel.

Well, here it is ....

Did they paint the scoop inserts or are they cut out.... looks really good. Did you have the grills painted at the same time too? I like the monochrome look. Might do it to my sonic blue too.....gotta think about it tho.

Grills got painted two years ago after accident (I LOVE INSURANCE!!!)

I love the hood, it REALLY stands out ....
