#4862 1993 Mini-Restoratiom

Thanks me tooooo!!! Last update was "a few months" haha

But I'm not stressing. He's a cool guy and let me come rip out my interior there in his shop.

I was told it would be difficult and potentially painful to do the doors this way and it turns out that was accurate haha.

I didn't cover every last inch and even left some decent sized spaces not covered as I was saving for the roof as well, that should be ok you think?

I've seen photos both ways. With every inch covered and then photos when it's not. Obviously it's ideal to cover everything but I was assuming (we know what happens with that) that it would be ok doing it how I did??

Looks good to me. Your OK not covering every inch. That’s on my list.

That looks fantastic! What a difference. This is on the agenda for me. Is that POR 15? Under the cad looks to be a PIA.

Yeah it's POR 15 and yeah it was a PIA haha. Once I crawled under there I kinda went into a zone and just kept going so I guess I got lucky that i wasn't completely miserable.

I haven't used that stuff much so as you can see I kinda stayed away from the bolt heads and threads. You think I can go over them with it or would you recommend anything else?

The times and areas that I have used it I am really really pleased with it

Dont get it on you or anything you dont want it on. Lol

Still have a spot in the garage where I spilled some.

Bolt heads are okay threads are not. This stuff sticks and dries very hard.

This is where my lack of patience gets me in trouble. I didn't wait long enough for replies. The good news is (I guess) I haven't needed those threads in 20+ years so hopefully that continues or at the very least the heads and break through and clean up the threads???

That was my thought. I have already rebuilt everything so the majority bolt threads won’t matter.

Not much to report on unfortunately but I've got a bit of a throwback pic from when I got it in 01. Hopefully it looks like this again soon

Little update pics. The roof is still getting some sort of chemical treatment something or another. Was pretty rough up there but he says not terrible
