I have a 93 lightning and here recently have a whining sound coming from the drivetrain. It started a few weeks ago. When you are up over 50 to 70 miles an hour on interstate a whining sound is coming from what sounds like the trans. If you let off the gas completely it goes away. The slightest push on the excelerator though it makes a nnnnnnnnn sound. It has even started doing it on the downshifts when slowing down( but only at the begining of the 4 to 3 and 3 to 2 shift when the rps are higher. I have already changed the trans fluid and filter as well as rearend oil. I dont know if i have a trans or rearend problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
