When to upgrade?

What can the stock trans hold up against? What is the normal 'threshold' for requiring a trans upgrade? What RWHP and RWTQ can the stock trans deal with?

its heavy duty trans from what i hear it can hold up just fine up to 500 HP. thats on a gen1 havent heard anything on gen2 trans
