Among the parts I inherited when my brother, Mike Dunn, passed away is a Lightning long block, I know nothing about it. Mike was a very talented automotive engineer so I doubt that he would have bought it if the engine is in anything but decent condition.
Is it possible to put it on an engine stand and do a compression and leak-down test to determine its condition?
I have no reason to keep it, any ideas on what it might be worth?
