turbo guys, need some help

what do you guys use to keep stuff cool? my main wiring harness is super close to the down pipe and the header. What can i use to protect them from heat. I need something that will withstand big temp.

Pro Turbo uses some wrap-around heat shield blankets that get wrapped directly on the pipe. They insulate very well. I'd think most turbo companies would have something similar.

how close? My crank position sensor wire was about 3/4" from my log and it just had the factory style wrap on it. Never melted or anything.

Doesn't take a lot of air gap to be adequate. You can order all kinds of wire covers and wrap tape and such from place like Summit or any turbo shop.

DEI makes a heat shield sleeve. it splits and joins with velcro
