Trip in the L

Am I the only one on here who starts any threads nowdays? Sure seems like it.

Went to OK in the L this week after new tires and remounting the front sway bar and replacing a radius arm bushing. Rained on me a bunch, so the truck needs a bath real bad. The good news is it ran great, drove great and was a fun trip. And the better news - decided to check the fuel mileage and low and behold I got 15.8 mpg. I thought that was pretty dang good for a truck that runs high 12's and isn't really a street truck anymore.

Vern I will help out with your new thread,I am glad that you had a good time and thats pretty good mileage out of a brick.Are you still running factory gears?

Fordfest is a no go for me gotta work it's the busy time of the year for me.
