My lightning is practically bone stock other than filter and flowmasters. Should i get a 180 degree thermostat.

Not a whole lot of benefit from a thermostat. Really, fuel injected vehicles don't loose appreciable power with the 193 thermostats and they're made to be more efficient at that temperature anyway.
I don't think you'll hurt anything, but I don't think it's worth much either.

I have made the change to the 180 and Jeff is right. No appreciable difference, but put that in conjunction with a upgraded waterpump and radiator and the truck stays considerably cooler (why wouldn't it).
