Tailgate..... bushing?

The picture attached is on the passenger side of the tailgate. The tailgate slides into the drivers side and it has the "notch" on the passenger side. On the passenger side is a bushing or anything supposed to be in there?

I've been noticing more lately over bumps it's kinda been jumping and is noisy. Like a loud banging noise

I'm gonna highjack this really quick instead of starting a new thread.

The lower drivers door hinge. I see LMR has (I've purchased in the past) the upper hinge. The don't seem to offer a lower.

Is it more common to replace the hinge pin and bushing instead of the entire hinge?

I feel excited to know these exist and also feel kinda insane because I've had truck since 99 and never knew that these exist
