Socal Dyno Day (Gauging Interest)

Just starting a thread to see who is interested in having a dyno day up in Anaheim in the near future at Socal Diablo with Shawn Ellis. It was a big success last year so hopefully it will be again this year. Post up if ur interested and when u will be available and i will call up there soon to see what they will offer us.
 
Why is this the only thread in the SoCal LOC forum? I'm moving to San Diego and looking to hook up with the other L owners in the area.
 
I honestly dont mean to bash anyone but I have been to Shawn Ellis before and would not take my truck there again. Not only did he not notice that i was having a fuel issue and my truck was shooting lean after 4000 RPM's but he also set my truck to 20* of timing on 91 octane.

Lets just say i am very familiar with detonation and i'm lucky my engine is not in pieces. After getting tuned by Shawn my truck was so F'ed up that i wanted to honestly sell it. I Drove almost 8 hours to his shop and about 20 minutes after i left my truck started dying and my service engine light was on. To make a long story short i wasn't happy.

No offense to shawn or anything he's a really great guy and tried his best to help but i just wouldn't want him tuning my truck again. Maybe i just had a bad experience but i'm just trying help my fellow lightning brothers out.
 
I think every tuner has their horror stories. Me personally and plenty of others have had great tunes with Shawn which is why we are going back.

It is on Saturday, August 26 starting at 8:00 AM up in Anaheim at SoCal Diablo ( http://www.socaldiablo.com/ ). So far we have only Harley Trucks that are getting a tune. There may be a couple L's just watching but none getting a tune as of yet. The price is $250 per truck for a dyno and tune. Hope u can make it, post up if you can.

The dyno day is on Saturday, August 26th. First truck is on the dyno at 8:00AM. The cost is $250 per truck for a dyno and tune. The tuner is Shawn Ellis who most of us in socal have already been to at Socal Diablo up in Anaheim. He tunes with SCT and Diablosport products. The address is:
