Running boards

Does anyone know where you can find the running board support pipe or has anyone tried making one themselves?

AFAIK, no one including Ford has ever offered a replacement for the tube bracket for the factory running boards.

I made up a set for my Dads flareside. I used 3/4" .065 wall st st tubing. His were rotted out but not bent, so I was able to use them as a templete.
