There is a large Route 66 Festival in Springfield Illinois this weekend Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 (www.route66fest.com), with Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Customs, etc. A large Cruise and "Big Daddy" Don Garlitts. Free Ent. Joey Dee, Gary Puckett, and more.
Also in conjunction Midstate Dragway (www.midstatedragway.com) is hosting a three day event, with nostalgia vehicles of all types - muscle, dragsters, etc. R
Regular Racing $1,500.00 winner Sat. - paying 16 places.
