Congradulations Anthony to the 12 Second Club!!! I know how exciting it is to finally reach that Goal....Good Luck in your Quest but I must tell you that there is alot of mods to go to Run HIGH 12's to Low 12's....by the way Anthony what Blower are you running and how much Boost are you running????Good Luck Again Man.

im currently running a Paxton SN2000 blower at about 7.5psi. looking into possibly going to a novi unit. i know in my area i am an outcast using the paxton, all ive seen(with the exception of 1) are running vortechs. i do know there is no real easy(or cheap way) to get to the low 12's. but wont stop me from trying

HotRod, at least you have all winter to work on it, i believe my season is now over(chicagos winter should be bearing its head soon). will have to wait till spring to fight you off OR catch up to you !! but hopefully i come out in the spring with a vengence.

just wondering, cuz on my time it shows a "B" which would mean blower, and my only mod's are k&n, flowmasters, 1.7 roller rockers and that's it

I was in the same boat as you about the roll bar. I didn't know if I could do it.I had to ask myself if I would ever sell the Lightning.If not,I mite as well make the way I want it.What it matter how much it worth if I'm never going to sell it.And I could always cut the bar out if I wanted to.
As for me I just trying to sell the Mustang that I should have never done.And putting together a 351wSVO block 418cid. motor for the Lightning.I'm working on getting a mondo J-trim and intercooler for it.I want to go faster then last time.

You know what Steve, I dont see Rod(Fairlane any where on this list with his low 15 secound run nor do I see Shawn(LightningSVT18) whith his 15.6 time slip. I will get you shawns MPH in a couple of hours. I think you have done a wonderfull job on this list. That had to have taken you a lot of time. Thank you!

Shawns exact time was a 15.612 @ 86.51 mph.

Steve,My best time is 14.98 at 90.66 mpr with a 2.154 60ft time at Bremerton on
5-1-99. wth F,U,O I have not backed that time up. I ran a 15.10 at 89.12 with a 2.27 60ft time at SIR on 10-28-01 with F,U,O,K
I have MSD wires and coil on the truck. Is that an ignition upgrade or do you mean ignition box?
 
I have a question for you guys?? I have a friend that will let me use a (NOS) Dry kit 50 Shot..I am only running 19# Injectors as you all know. Will this be a problem?? I really am looking for a 11 Second Time Slip.
Also if you guys think that I won't have any problems with this set up what should the truck run???

Hey Ralph I think its going to take more than 50 to get in the 11s.Id say at the very Least a 110 shot.Dont think Id try that with 19s and a dry kit.
 
Finally got to the track. Best of 60ft 2.230,660ft 9.825 for a blistering 15.42 at 86.984. Mods if you want to call them that, timing,home made diesel tube out of the factory lightning tube,and the exhaust that was on the truck when I bought it,glass pack mufflers and those obnoxius large chrome tips.(they are coming off this weekend, bought a Bassani set up).
