pistons & rods?

Matt,

looking for suggestions and pricing on a set of hardened rods & pistons. Going to be running a 357,351 .30 over with an ed curtis custom cam, a set of edelbrock performer heads with a 60 cc combustion chamber and a Vortech S-trim running between 12-15 psi. What do you reccommend?! Thanks -Bear

I was cruising your post and have come up with this senario:

Eagle H beam Probe piston Clevite bearing Perfect circle rings $962 shipped.

Will be about 8.9:1 Compression

Add: $125 for better ring set that will be more boost friendly
Add: $15 for King Bearings (tougher shell than clevite more detonation resitant)

Upgrade to SRP or Diamond Piston for $100
Upgrade to Scat rod for $100 (Better machining better fit not necessarily a better rod)
