Permanent number question

Hello. I just got my NMRA package today, what i was wondering, do i get a permanent number? Or is that something I now get at my local track ?(Gainseville, FL ). :nb:

Call NMRA and tell them which class you'll be running and they will give you a perm #.

NMRA would be truck and lightning, FFW(not sure they have anyhting to do with NMRA) would be tough truck right?
