OEM headlight switch...need help

What would be bad at the ground? It's ground at the distribution box....

Corrosion on connectors or a situation that's been building over time. You don't run the race truck often or you may have seen it sooner. If your light circuits are pulling enough current to deform your switch, I'd install relays.
 
It doesn't ground at the PDB, and a poor ground wouldn't cause high current draw. Any extra resistance in the circuit REDUCES current draw. It's a short somewhere.
 
It's fixed...The switch doesn't have a ground....and I grounded it....everything works good now....now I have to put the entire dash back together....

Don't know...all I know is the headlights worked w/o a ground....and now the back lights work w/o a ground...
