AEM told me last week that they cannot controll the trans with their set up?????????

The comment was made that with the looming rash of turbo conversions for both Gen 1 and Gen 2 trucks, a section that addresses the conversions/installations was needed. To that end we started the section for Q&A, comments and helpful posts. We will delete any posts that we feel does not belong here. David, generally speaking, the systems that control automatic transmissions won't work with the Ford electronic tranny setup. It'll be interesting to see if the AEM is any different.

If you're talking about Harry Hruska, you'll have a hard time finding him at Innovative.... you'll have better luck trying at Precision.

Sorry I'm late to the party! I'm glad to see this section

On the engine management side of things:

BS3 has been the most popular that I've seen for the Lightnings both Gen 1 and will be for Gen 2's now that they have their coil-on-plug system available. I don't believe either will support the Ford electronic trans yet though.
