need some help with pinnacle 9 software!!!!!

once i get the video transfered to the cpu, i can't get any sound from the video.....it plays fine, but no sound. whats the deal?

You get sound from other applications and videos? What program are you playing it in?
Check the obvious;
program muted, wave muted, master volum muted, etc.
