...at Pacific Raceway ! 5/20/11 first race for Car Club Challenge. 71 cars showed up for three different teams. I waded through all of'em 'cept one. A Pontiac Firebird took top honors while I had to settle for first loser.....

His .030 light to my .095 reaction and his ET of a 25 with a seven on a 13.25 dial just killed my 12.64 dial. 'Course runnin' a 61 with an 8 kinda didn't help any either.....BREAKOUT !

Oh well....2nd in points for the season so far at PR ! Yah, with one race down and five to go.....

And NO it wasn't my camera that took this pic !

Then there was a few cars that caught my attention....

One BADAZZ Charger, first Gen....

Then there was 3 cars that took me back to the Gasser Wars of the mid to late '60s. Only one looked close to visually correct but all 3 were cars that mixed it up in AA/GS at various times when Gassers were a MAJOR crowd draw...

The '33 Willys...

An Austin....don't ask me what year it is ! I had'ta talk with the owner of it just to confirm it was an Austin !

Then the one that looked very close to visually correct, a '38 Chevy, straight axle an' all...

For Jon, there were 22 Mopars there I was told. Seems after 1st round there were 5 left :?

I took out 1 Mopar and a couple of Chevies, plus a Ford in the semi final. That orphan Pontiac Trans Am Firebird got me though !! Watcha gonna do.......:help:
