First, let me say that I am not an owner of a Lightning ... but my brother is! Well, for a little while longer, that is. Reason being, he has decided to sell his 1st Gen Lightning. He's not too "skookum" on using a computer, so I told him I'd help and will be posting his red beauty in the classifieds shortly, if it isn't already listed.
I must say, these Lightnings are damn impressive! I've had more than one friend that's owned them, plus a neighbor that has a silver 2003. If I was a "truck-guy", I'd have one!
My ride? I'm sorta from the "dark side" for most of you ... but the car is family, having owned it since May'72. I even brought one of my sons home from the hospital in it in April '74! This is my "straight-line" car ... Check it out here .
My other car is for the twisties. I've driven most of the west coast road courses with it and it's a real kick. That one you can see here as I was negotiating the famous Corkscrew at Laguna Seca.
Now ... to convince my neighbor he needs to get an ET on his '03!
