GEN 2 Timeslips

Removed stock airbox and installed open K&N conical filter,Two magnaflow muffs in place of the stocker,and oh yeah,it was ccccold.

Guys....is there a conversion for 1/8 to 1/4 times. I've got a Gen 1 that runs 9.7 1/8 mile with 2.1 60ft time, 71 mph at sea level. What might the time work out too in a 1/4 mile run. I just haven't run it a 1/4 mile track yet.

I run 9.6 at 70 1/8 at Denton,TX
and 14.8-9 in the 1/4 at 90 at Ennis,TX
95 pullies,14degrees,k&n filter,level 10 shift kit.

So Kurt....what your saying is that I'm running pretty well for a complete stock trim G1 with no mods....wow
 
Chuck, the times should be in the ballpark. I have never run in stock form for baseline. You need to run it in the 1/4 to find out for sure.

heya kurt, im over a few towns in frisco, but visit denton an awful lot in the warm wx...lemme know next time ya get up there, been tryin to hook up with a guy from oklahoma that goes all the time too. then theres struck, he claims to go, but have yet to run into him. oh well, looks like itll be awhile anyways.
 
Muddmann we should try to get a club gathering (talon or tool) that would be cool. Let me know if your going anytime also.

Chuck,mustangworks.com has a stang analyzer on thier site with some neat stuff.One of them is a 1/8 to 1/4 mile conversion.

Best time is in the sig. Only mods are a chip and filter. All runs are made on street tires at normal air pressure (32 PSI cold). New best time is on Toyo Proxes S/T in stock size. Not a 12 yet, but I'm getting closer.

are you the black Lightning I've seen most of this year at MMM?? If so, I was wishing I would have talked to you this past year. I finally purchased an '00 last Oct., and wondered what mods you had made for the 12 second runs.
