no dragstrip in these parts, but she pulls

'94L. 14.30@97mph, 2.15 60-ft on slippery Milan Dragway (90+ degree ambient temp and had a dead Traction-Lock too!).

Mods: NOS 5115 "dry" setup jetted at 100-horse. Diesel air tube. That's it, nothing else. Spare tire and tailgate was in place and had 2 full tanks of fuel.

Only one pass so far. 14.95 @ 90 MPH at Cordova. My modifications are Borla Nascar muffler, power pulleys, and a K&N conical right on the throttle body, with stock timing. No spare tire and just a roll pan. Tires were at 30 psi and I launched at 1500 RPM.

95 lightning 14.93@90mph.stock check out 98cobra.com

My mods are:

Pulleys
1.7 rockers
x-pipe
deisel tube w/ K&N
with spare tire, tailgate and stepbumper all still present.
I run 14.72 at 92.4 MPH with a 2.04 60ft time.

Add a 5115 NOS kit and that got me a 13.5 timeslip.
But on that particular pass the 60ft time was 2.1, which is unfortunate because I havent had a chance to try and better that yet.

I remember how soggy those stock shifts were with the blower. I didnt install my shift kit for a month after the blower went on. I would be willing to bet there is 2 tenths in the shift kit, besides it will let the tranny live better, all that slipping is not good!
