The Ford Performance Association is @ it again Sunday April 27,2003 @ Gulfport Dragway there will be three brackets, plus a truck class, power puff, and a run for the money Open to FORD POWERED Vehicles Only
Gates open @ 9:00 am , time trials start @ 10:00 am, run for the money @ 2:00pm, and eliminiations @ 2:30pm
Racer Cost $15.00 , Spectators Cost $ 8.00 , and kids 12 and under are free
23 trophies to be given away, low E T,Top Elminator, Best of Show, and a Hard Luck Award
There will also be a drag racing class for the beginers all you have to do is walk over to the starting line @ 9:30 Am and there will be someone there glad to help you out or answer any question you might have it is free and you can bring your kids up there to get in on the fun
All cars must pass NHRA tech,nhra bracket rules apply and Gulfport Dragway has the last word' there will also be a parts and swap meet space available with a spectators fee being paid,vendors welcome
This race is our 3rd memorial for the owener of the track we had suce good dealing with the owener that when he passed away we started haveing a race in his honnor his wife now runs the track and we still have a great time
Hope to see some other Lightnings out there i won the truck class in the March race we had there well hope to see some more trucks this time around
