This low miler engine was in a '97 Expedition and replaced under warranty for the notorious piston slap. I happen to own a '97 Expy with a 5.4 and it has a ton of miles on it and it too has piston slap always had it from day one until you get some heat into the engine. Anyway this engine, I purchased from a Ford dealership about 5 years ago, it has not been disassembled, it is sitting on an engine stand. Comes with complete valve covers to the pan. I want $250 for it and I'll throw in the engine stand too. I bought it as a spare engine for my Expy but I'll eventually be selling the vehicle soon. Of course pickup only, the heads are worth at least twice the price I'm asking for the whole thing. I need it out of the garage.
