SOLD...... 2003 Ford F150 Lightning
I’m offering for sale my one owner Lightning.
Build date 6/4/03 #3848 of 4270 made in 2003, one of 735 red ones made.
It has 16,800 adult driven miles on it and is a garaged kept queen. Truck has always been garage kept. It is a show and go truck for sure. I built it strong with nothing but the best parts and service. I have not shown nor raced the truck in over 5 years due to work and other interests so now it time to let somebody else enjoy it. I have not raced the truck since the last motor and transmission install in 2007. It was raced with the old VT Race engine and the Kenne Bell 1.8 twin screw supercharger to the best time of 10.73.
I pulled the motor out to change cams and ended up refreshing the engine with new pistons and everything else while I had it out. And since I had the engine pulled I sold the Monster Box transmission and bought a new BTS (Brian’s truck Stop) bullet proof 4r100 with a PI converter to put in before I reinstalled the engine. Yes I am that anal about the truck, when I do something I want to do it all.
I do have lots of stock parts and the Ford factory service manuals along with all the books and paper work including receipts for work performed. I am also sure I have forgotten to list some parts or features as I’m getting CRS in my old age of 57. It has been sitting in my shop only getting driven to town now and then. I’m pretty sure it has been driven less than 300 miles a year for the last 3-4 years. All fluids are changed as needed of course.
Asking price was $28,900 now $26,500!! SOLD

Performance modifications are as listed:
Steen Racing built 5.4L .20 over Pistons are Speed Pro forged flat tops ( 10.1 CR) with Calico coatings on tops and skirts. . Manley billet steel rods, Forged steel crank shaft. ARP studs used throughout build.
Fox Lake ported & polished heads with Manley 120# valve springs.
Cams are Comp Cams 278’s with new chains and guides.
Lower manifold a JDM Engineering is ported and polished unit.
Accufab single blade throttle body 1650 cfm (Installed engine at 11K miles).
JDM Engineering 60# fuel injectors with twin 255 LPH fuel pumps.
Billet Fuel rails with Aeroquip lines and fittings. -10 AN supply line from a Mallory Comp Cartridge Style Fuel Filter fed by 2 -6AN SS lines from the 255LPH pumps.
