has anyone tried a ford e303 cam (roller) to see if it would work.
 
AS long as your truck has the two threaded holes in the lifter valley for the retaining plate your in business, (some Lightning's have these some do not) Don't forget the roller lifters, shorter push rods, retaining plate and lifter holders, All said and done its about a $500 swap...

Also, don't forget the MAS conversion. Without it, the truck will sound like a blown alcohol engine, always serching for an idle. There are not many off the shelf cams that are SD friendly. The Crane Lightning cam seems to be very good, but if you want roller, then you'll have to get a custom ground cam that will work with SD.
