Best drag spring/shock combo

Can someone help me with the best drag set-up for stock style front end? I'm currently using stock springs with 90/10 CE shocks. Surly there is something better out there that has been proven.

Rear has a ladder-bar.

Thanks

I haven't ran mine but I have Viking double adjustable up front.

An old school drag racer's trick is to use 6 cylinder springs because they had a lower rate, but a longer length. This stores more energy and transfers weight to the rear more easily. In this case, a 6 cylinder spring may not be the way to go. A custom spring with a light rate and lots of free length might be a better option.

I'm running Calvert racing 90/10 shocks on my 79 with cut stock coils. It transfers good and hooks well and allows it to settle up top too which I like. They are for a Dodge Dart I believe.
