Fuse box or headlight switch connector was the cause. I’ve got one in my Shelby now. I definitely could have saved it if I had an extinguisher in it.

Sadly I had a extinguisher in mine but could not get hood up to get fire out. Fire was coming up around grill and front of hood.
 
Think a seal on injector failed it had to have some fuel pressure to stay running while melted aluminum from upper intake was found in #5 and 6 on top of piston and valve closed on a blob on #8.

I gottya. All unplanned fires are bad but fuel could be really bad.
