130 Amp Alternator install

If you have a VOM, check the Buss fuse in the Struckby cable to make sure it didn't pop.
 
It may be a bad alternator as well, has been known to happen once or twice. I always have parts store alternators checked before walking out the door.

Definitely - if you use Struckby's kit, it comes with the grounding cable. I used the Napa cable upgrade kit, 4 ga. pos (fused) & neg cables, p/n 13-31K.

For comparison, OEM 95a cables are 12 ga.

I repositioned the cable and now the battery light is off. I'm hoping that's all it was. Now on to diagnosing what's wrong with my windshield wipers and a parasite that keeps draining my battery. *sigh

This.^^^ Its amazing how many times guys forget that fresh paint insulates circuitry. Make those connections bare metal to let current flow.
