Truck paint update

Thanks guys. I just installed my derale fan kit yesterday. Definitely a nice setup especially paired with lfp race aluminum radiator. I'll snap some pic later on and post them up.

It's bassani shorties, 2 ½" pipe from headers to tail pipe. Balancing tube increase to 1½" to act as an h pipe then goes to an x pipe then 2 flow master super 10s true duals with some 2½" to 4" rolled edge angle cut tips. Mufflers and tips I added today. It's been a successful week since I got my truck back. Got a lot of stuff done

It was like $4500 with some added extras I asked for. He undercoated the frame, undercoated the cab and undercoated the bed. Fixed all the rusted area by cutting out the bad metal and welding in new metal. He did 3 base coats and 3 coats of paint. He did 3 coats of clear. He painted the inside of the bed. Painted all black trim pieces to truck. I know the guy pretty good so he hooked me up with the price and labor he did. Normally something like what he did is closer to $10k to $12k. So it all depends on the shop and person doing the job. I've done some carpentry work for him before on his house and shop.

I'm hoping I can have my rear end built over the winter. I'm going to keep 4.10 gear but want to added stronger axles and detroit tru trac plus all new bearings and seals. Might even do new pinion flange and trans yoke as well. Plus I still got my pimpxshift system to install probably in a 2 to 3 week. Figure I drive my truck for a bit since I didn't have for 3 month for the summer time.
 
I’d leave the yokes alone at this mod level especially if you’re keeping the stock driveshaft(which I would), just put good solid u-joints in it 5-1330X is the Spicer part#.
 
I was on the fence about the pinion flange and trans yoke. More than likely not going to do that. Just have everything else done. The rear end is the last piece that need to get built. My engine has been built also my trans. Just need the rear end done. I do need to get with copperhead when I'm ready to get me a drive shaft loop.
