Gen 1 with a Holley EFI kit?

I have a 93L and my buddy is telling me to turbo the truck with a holley efi kit... i searched around and couldnt find any info that it will work on our trucks with the trans. he is saying they just came out with one. any info??
 
That's funny. I just spent some time the last few days looking into that also and haven't had much luck either.
 
I do not know of an ecm that will control the trans and the engine. However the new Holly EFI systems with self learn are very nice. You have 2 options to control the trans. Use the stock ecu in place and it will continue to control the trans with the stand alone controlling the engine. The second option is to use a standalone for the trans and a standalone for the engine. I have done both. I run a Gen 7 Dfi System and used the stock computer to control the trans. Today I use a Baumann controller for the Trans. If I were to make the purchase for the ECM today I would look at a self learn system like the Holly EFI.
