Interesting place this Red Mill Burgers joint. Kind of a "hole in the wall" place but well known locally and has had kudos nationally for their burgers. Thanks to Jeff we managed to snag a booth which expanded to a table and another booth thus getting us all together for some DANDY burgers. Quite a line of people ordering up the various burgers available but moved relatively well. Could not ask for a NICER day for a GTG in January ! Sunny all day and maybe even pushing 50 degrees !! 6 trucks came out plus a good group of people ! Let's see, Michael, Marty, Jason, Chad, Jeff, Corey, Carson, Nick, Lauren, Jean and myself.
The usual transpired, a little BSing in the parking lot next to the building, then food to devour, followed by some serious BSing in another parking lot. Seems the Red Mill Burgers parking lot is kinda small and continuously full so we found a nearby parking lot to get the trucks together.
As Marty said…good times with GOOD people ! There's a few I know of that couldn't make it around my local area plus one from far away across the Tacoma narrows. Would'a been 3 more Gen 1s if those 3 trucks could of made the run.
Pics, well yeah I got pics…..
The place with a Gen 1 along side.
The "car guy" shot. Butts facing' the camera, attention focused on the engine bay. This particular engine bay happens to have a pair of "hairdryers" in it !
What the guys are looking at in the "car guy" shot.
Corey's turbo truck.
In the slightly offsite parking lot are 6 trucks. Here's 4 of 'em
The other two
Nick's truck
Carson's truck and his engine bay
The two local "nasty" trucks, one twin turboed, one Whipple charged, both with down bars out the back window
