    Finding Replacement Parts

Dedicated to NLOC Member #72 Vern Jones
who started this list back in 2002.

See below for latest searchable part number index in attached pdf file - updated 09/21/2019

because searching online by part number is often the quickest & easiest way to find what you need.

Lightning-unique reproduction & performance parts from:
    Late Model Restoration Supply

Other online parts houses that carry a mix of Ford / Motorcraft and after-market parts:
    Amazon.com
    Bronco Graveyard
    Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts
eBay - several Ford NOS dealers on eBay
    Green Sales Genuine Ford Parts
    - one of my new favorites
    LMC Truck
    National Parts Depot (NPD)
    RockAuto

    Used parts:
    NLOC Classified Section
    The Corral
    Yellow Bullet
Used Parts and Truck Salvage Yards Nationwide
    Used Parts Central
    Car-Part.com

Couple of handy decoders for Ford long part numbers here:
Mustang Central.net Ford Part Number Info.
    Decoding Ford casting part numbers
Classic Mustang Part Number Decoding Guide
    Decoding Ford Part Numbers

This information has been compiled from inputs by lots of NLOC members over the years. If you find new part numbers, new parts sources, or errors in what's posted here, please PM me!

    TB & EGR gasket p/n's

Update to this... please see this for the latest: Red 93, build #5276 deep clean (post #25)

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh, and thanks to rudder, stroked & ranchero for the TB & EGR gasket p/n's that none of the parts stores seem to be able to get right:

FelPro 70262 - Throttle body gasket (86-94 GT, 93-95 Cobra)
    FelPro 71216 - IACV gasket (93-95 Lightning)

FelPro 72543 or Motorcraft CG-727 - EGR spacer gasket (also listed for 87-95 GT, 93-95 Cobra)
FelPro 70020 or Motorcraft GC-673 - EGR valve gasket (93-95 Lightning)

Edelbrock gasket set 3830 - TB, EGR spacer & EGR valve (no IACV)

EGR valve - Motorcraft CX-1230A (note: CX-1302A is often listed for 94-95 L, but is not the correct part)
Last edited by motorhead1024; 09-21-2014 at 08:33 PM. Reason: correct EGR valve gasket

Advance Auto Parts: Car, Engine, Batteries, Brakes, Replacement, Performance & Accessories carries them and you should have them in 3 or 4 days. Also, RockAuto should have them. RockAuto can usually have the parts setting on your front porch in 3 days.

    Good Luck, James

    Fog Lamp Switch Motorcraft SW-3912 / F3TZ-15A214-B
    - 1993 Ford F-Series Fog Lamp Switch NOS F3TZ-15A214-B

Vern Jones old (pre-2002) parts list attached. Some parts like the Edelbrock shocks have been discontinued, but many are still good and the Ford long p/n's are good starting points for tracking down parts...

Junkyard only, but you'll probably have to buy the entire seat and the bladders might not be in any better condition than yours. Take the seat apart and repair the bladder with an inner tube patch kit.
