Has Adel Bin-Ouged been on this forum? I recognize most of the others.

I don't think he knows about it Chip.
Charlie is looking to run in the 9.5 range this year Jody so you'll probably need to run a 9.89 to get in.

Better make that a 9.88 because I got the "9.89" time slip when i bought Jim's truck along with about 200 others starting out at like 15.2... The guy saved every slip and had them all in order by date with little notes written on them about the combo weather etc. I thought that was kind of cool so I told him I wanted those slips with the truck...

I often think about trying to beat that time to surpass the trucks former glory but I don't think I will try it any time soon because I'm afraid I will brake something! I had enough problems last year to last me about the next five seasons! :cuss:

Good luck this year guys!

Hi Jody,

The silver truck I now have was Jim's truck... I bought it as a "roller" no motor or tranny... It had a narrowed rear, 4 link, cage, Drag lites, and a nice straight body so it was a good "project" to start with but I pretty much gave it the complete "overhauling treatment" and made it into the truck that I wanted it to be... I'm talking about 20 hours a week for about 1 1/2 years of my life kind of work... everything has been, altered, fixed, painted, changed, etc. I was very close to putting my former white 94 under the knife to give it "the treatment" but it made more sense to put it back close to stock sell it and start with this one...

TTYL,
Dave

Dave,
So you bought Jim Gilberts? I didn't know that. nice.

Pix?

I hope to get to about #7 or #8 this year. :fingers crossed: Numbers 1-3 are totally out of reach and 4-6 will most likely get seriously faster. I hope to sneak past Norman's number, but Johnny may stay in front of me.

Nice compilation, Ralph. How'd you get all of that information?

I have done alot of research over the years on the Pro Lightning trucks. You'll move up Jeff! You have One of the Baddest Lightnings on the planet! :eek:ldtu:

Adel Bin-Ouged (Kuwait)---I have been to Kuwait, and those guys have some serious race cars/trucks over there. I should inquire about it.

I had the opportunity to see Justin Embrey, and Jerry Skinner both race this friday at Thunder Valley Raceway Park. Great guys, and great trucks.
