WBO2 location in stock exhaust

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I had the factory exhaust coming off the headers and located my Spartan 2 in the factory crossover tube. I always saw wild swings in O2 reading during cruising/idle, but seemed to be more stable on accel. Apparently that's just a poor location for the O2 sensor as now that it's been moved to the turbo downpipe an in the actual direct exhaust flow my readings are super stable. Just some info for potential installs moving forward.

That’s good info, I planned re-doing my exhaust header back soon and was contemplating sensor location. How far was you VE off or did any adjustment need to be made yet?

Just cruising at say 55mph I would see it swing as bad as 13-17afr, but soon as I added some throttle it would settle right in at target. At idle it wouldn’t swing quite as bad, but wasn’t steady like it is now.

Now it settles within a few tenths of target and doesn’t search at all. I feel like that helps AutoTune so it’s job better.
