Well it sucks, but I have a motor that does not work any more. I finally saved up eneough $$ to do the intercooler upgrade. I dropped like 1,000 dollars in it to get it back on the road. Got everything put back together, and the engine still had a miss. Replaced 1 bad coil pack, ran great, pulled hard. Pulled hard for about .5 mile's when the motor let go. I really don't know what caused it, but I do know i need a new motor. never went Wot motor let loose at about 60 mph 4,000 rpm.
 
Dang. I can tell by the wording of your reply that it bothers you more than you let on.

We can fix it. We have the technology. Now let's make it an 11 second truck...
 
Just gotta ask if it still had Injected's tune in it. Seems like that thing was trouble from 400hp@19psi. Hate to hear it still. Dont let it stay broke for too long, its easy to let the interest slip away when that happens.
 
This is exactly why my gen 2 is stock. I've ran the crap out of my gen 1 all its life and i never worry about venting the block. Sorry for your loss.
