Effective immediately, the following guidelines will apply to all Group Purchases (GP) offered to members of the NLOC via the site's forums:
1) Group Purchases are welcome, but any items sold by our SV's cannot be sourced by non SV's! The NLOC SV's help support this club and website, thus they will not compete with non-SV's for business. We always welcome new SV's to our board!
2) All Group Purchases MUST be approved IN ADVANCE of their being posted in the Group Purchase forum! GPs threads that have not been approved by NLOC Staff will be closed or deleted immediately. Approval must be sought for each and every GP proposed; previous approval to post a GP does NOT automatically confer approval to post additional ones.
3) Approved Group Purchases may be posted in the Group Purchases forum only. Group Purchase posts in the tech forums will be granted only on an exception basis, and in general will not be permitted.
4)The person organizing the GP must provide information about the proposed GP via e-mail to the moderator of the Group Purchase forum, Speedin Bob or BigD.
The following information is required:
- The item(s) that are being made available via GP
- The name of the business that will be providing the item(s) offered for GP
- The time frame over which the GP will run, including the end date
(NO OPEN-ENDED GPs)
- Any special restrictions or requirements for the GP
- The organizer must also affirm that he/she is not in any way associated with the business that is offering the GP, and is not receiving any profit, incentive, or "kickback" of any kind in return for setting up the GP.
-The organizer must certify that the GP they are doing in no way violates any manufacturer to distributor agreements as to minimum price! If we find out that it does, the post is subject to close within warning.
