how about an 1/8 and 1/4 mile times list for the non-lightning owners? I know there are some quick f-150's on here! I'm curious as to what you other guys are running!
what about the 79 truck?those are all great times!the flareside is hauling ***!no bigblock trucks around here run close to that with very similar setups.
Thanks I think it runs pretty good but compared to you it seems slow lol. I got a Lightning rear to try out in it to see if 4.10s pick it up. Probably going to run 3.90s with a full spool eventually. My dads likes the tall 295/65 drag radials so the 3.55s kill it on motor.
The 79 has been 11.68 113 on motor and 10.75 124 on a 175 shot on 325/50 MT radials. My best spray 1/8th was 6.76 101 on a different pass and 28x10.5s. Its a 10:1 466 with TFS heads, 850 and a solid roller with a c6 and 3000 nitrous converter and 3.70 gears. It has more in it but im broke most of the time and the truck needs a bar according to all my local tracks ;m I cant tell too much on the street lol.
damn shame you live so far away!we could setup some sick grudge races!lol!can't tell on the street ;k my thoughts exactly! i wanted to put 3.90's in my truck but so many people complain about them being noisy that i decided to go with 3.73's,should've just went with my instinct like i usually do instead reading into what everyone else say's!
Yeah everyone likes the Motorsport gears. I didnt hear that the 3.90s made noise though. I actually dont know anyone that runs them.
It seems all the grudge races happen down south. Sucks around here everyone knows my truck. I do plan on going to the grudgefest at Fayetteville NC. Not sure how close you are to that.
Here is a pass from the other night. My truck started swaying up top so I got out of it. I was ahead though  YouTube - LittleNicky vs DroppedF100
