Things are starting to come together

That is a surprising amount of movement with those motor mounts! It's no wonder I kept ripping stock ones in two.

Woot! OK, this might actually work as it appears the idea is solid. I still need to tweak the design in some areas and get the pulley alignment right, but it's looking good. I feel my 3D printer has paid for itself on this one... Now obviously I am not going to run a 3D printed plastic part it's just for mock up before having one CNC'd. Once done this *should* work for any of the fixed slide tensioners that most blower brackets come with. If you look at the white marks on the upper pulley you can see I have even better belt wrap than before. Obviously I have electric fans, no idea how bad the interference would be with a mechanical, but I don't care :)

For the guys that have been interested in the tensioner adapter I have been working on; can you take a measurement of your existing fixed tensioner? Basically from the backside of the mount to the frontside of the pulley. I want to see how much they vary.

yeah I believe so.
That's good. So far I've had 3 8 rib measurements of 3.66,3.65, and 3.86. **However that 3.86 is me and I added a small spacer to the back of my pulley for belt alignment. So I would say 3.66 is gonna be pretty standard for 8 rib. Need more peeps to chime in though.

OK, final version (I hope) is done and sent to Travis. Belt alignment looks good and I even cranked the motor over to see how it reacted. Also the belt on it for the pics is too long, but it's all I have at the moment.

I tried to take a measurement of mine this afternoon but can’t get the calipers in the right spot in the tensioner with the efan. Sorry man..

All good, it def get's tight in there. All I would say is to check that measurement before trying to have something made.

I will when I have time to pull it off. Probably be next week. My thoughts though are that it’s 3.66 like everyone else’s as I’ve not had any belt alignment issues with either the XB1A or the V3 using the same slide tensioner.

New shocks came in, so pretty.
