Superferry

I'm just wondering if anyone is planning to use the superferry to ship their truck to one of the neighbor islands. I was thinking of going to Kaua'i at towards the end of summer, and wouldn't mind taking a vehicle with me so I wouldn't have to pay for a rental car. Thanks-Josh

For about $60.00 for passenger fare plus about $70.00 fare for the truck each way and about a 3 hour boat ride, depending on which island, if I were going outer island for vacation, I rather catch a plane and rent a car.

Depending on how long you were staying, might be less to rent a car.

Now if you wanted to take the truck to blast it on the outer islands more open roads and less busy highways, that would be a different story.

I think we all will use it---maybe it'll generate some competition from Young Brothers (YB) which will give us some options---the ferry is still the way to go, as the salt spray from YB is terrible & they don't give a chit.
