Hey Dave, whats the most psi that a gen1 stock block can handle?Will it handle it better with a turbo than with a blower.I have read in the gen2 section that the turbo has more of a cushion on the pistons which means you can run a higher psi.Is this true?Well i will await your response thanks.

with the correct tune it may be possable to make a little more power with the turbo without breaking stuff compared to the blower but what it really comes down to is the correct tune i.e. proper amount of fuel & timing for the amount of boost your running... 450 RWHP is about the limit with a stock motor and pump gas but you may go beyond that with higher octane fuel... If you avoid detionation these stock 351's will tolerate quite a bit of power...
