Springs vs. a-arms

Here's another one for you:

What about springs vs. 2" drop a-arms? Pros? Cons?

I like the stock spring rates for ride comfort and decent handling, but hate brake dive and sway. Was thinking that a-arms, Hotchkis $way bar$, and some adjustable shocks (like the QA1's) would be the ticket. Your input is appreciated.

Use: Just brisk street driving, but maybe some Solo I is in the future. Will occasionally haul a 750 lb. Honda Valkyrie.

Thanks again.

The only way that changing the a arms is going to help brake dive is they will hit the bump stops sooner.Brake dive is DESIGNED into the suspension, not always to the best use thou.To change it you have to change the angle atwhich the braking force is TRANSFERED to the suspension.Springs and shockes help in that they stiffen the suspension up but DON'T correct it.Just make it harder to push down on.Stan
