Speedo Adjustment

I am aquiring a set of 99 Gen II wheels with the 5 on 5 1/2 pattern and going with a 285/60/18 tire. They are about 1/2 the price of the stock 18 inch rubber. I would like to get you to reflash the chip so the speedo reads correctly. Which would you rather do?

1. Take it out as soon as I get the new rolling stock , send it to you and reflash it there.

2. Wait until March when you come out to St. Louis for the MKLO weekend. I know you will probably be sniffin and fetchin pretty good that weekend, and I don't want to sidetrack you with something relatively trivial.

Let me know which is best for you. I have a daily driver so the truck being w/o the chip is no big deal.

Eric, you can't do the speedo correction in the chip for a Gen 1. You'll need to get a speedcal from Dallas Mustang.

Also, Gen 2 wheels will not fit on a Gen 1. The bolt pattern is different. There is a company that does make 99-00 style wheels for the Gen 1 though, I the name is ASF.
