O okredline Member Jan 11, 2003 #2 My understanding is that the Gen 3 Lightning will be available as a 2005 model. The Lightning will take a 1 year hiatus during 2004, the initial launch year of the new bodystyle truck. 1 year off, then comes screaming back into the picture.
