Silencer holes

Being the porting experts, I was curious what your thoughts were concerning filling in the silencer holes on the underside of the blowers.

Thanks

do you weld the the silecner ports? Just wondering. I jbwelded my stock blower and my ported one and sheesh both are loud as ****.

I also noticed it seemed to boost up a tad quicker on the stock blower with them closed.

When my extra unit gets ported (soon I hope) I plan to have the silener ports welded in. Might as well while they have it.

besides welding, is their anything else i could fill them in with.

tank some sand paper, ruff up the surface, clean, take some tape and put on the inside of blower. mix up jbweld and put in holes. Let dry over night to make sure its dry. remove tape from inside blower and you might have to lightly sand the inside of the blower where the jb weld is...

Ive done 3 blowers like this and have yet to have any problems

Are there any drawbacks from doing this? How loud is loud?

Discharge happens later, what effect does that have?

Thanks,
RED
