repainting wheels

i want ro redo my wheels the silver is chipping off, does anyone knoe the correct color paint to use? or should they be powder coated? would a clear coat help?

I did my wheels with a basecoat clearcoat just like you use on your truck, you use the same paint color as the 2000 wheels on all the ford trucks,there is no paint code for the 93-95 lightning wheels, make sure that who every does it sand the wheel good so that the paint will stick.

Ford replaced mine for about 50$ per wheel.
I gave them mine, they gave me new ones!
