In preparation for this Fall's race season I located a VP Fuels dealer in Stamford, CT.. It is called ICS (Imported Cars os Stamford). They had C16 5 gallon pails in stock. Took two home at a cost of $70 each.
Truck is being prepared for a 9 second capable run. The target date is October 31. Halloween Day at Atco Dragway. It is the DelValLO "Spookfest" track rental. A more aggressive tune, retuned nitrous shot and progressive curve, along with a bit of weight savings should make me the first 1.8 liter blown truck to hit 9s.
Anyone else doing any drag racing this Fall?
