I have a hard shifting E4OD in my 94gen 1 and even after a rebuild at 108K miles it has resurfaced again. I know have 125k on the tranny. The hard shift is intermittent and will hit strong and jerk from 1st to 2nd. It loves to do it when in traffic. I thought the rebuild was needed because the hard shift got worse and it began to slip. The slip went away but the hard shift just came back after I put 15k on the rebuilt tranny and the shop just changed the filter and oil. They don't know what is wrong with it and neither did Ford. The local deal said it was the accum. valve body but that was changed twice. The solenoid was also replaced. Could it be a bug in the transmission computer control module? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
