my truck likes gas
i just put on a 2.75 upper and re-tuned......is it NECESSARY to change spark plugs. I have some new ones but don't wanna spend the man hours changing them......i've heard yes and heard no....
 
Is that all you did? If you only added 2lbs (which is what I'm assuming that pulley is) then I would say its not neccessary. It always good to change plugs when adding boost. Changing plugs isnt that bad assuming you have a 7mm swivel socket and some extensions. I do mine in less then an hour. Also even if you dont change plugs I would check to make sure all the coil packs and plugs are snug. Always a chance of blowing a plug when adding boost.
 
I think its highly recommended to change your plugs when youre adding more boost. For your setup, I would go w/ NGK TR6. You will also need a new tune since adding more boost will lean out the air/fuel mixture. Better be safe than sorry.
 
We're talking about plugs, not coil packs.

But you can get them at any SV. I would get either the MSD or Granatelli.
